From a small town training company, to a national training and employment provider
We’re a not-for-profit organisation providing support, training and employment to individuals and businesses seeking sustainable workforce solutions.
We also offer targeted support to marginalised individuals to support them to transform their lives and reach their full potential.
Since opening in 1992, we’ve grown significantly from regional WA to the rest of the nation through servicing the needs of local communities and businesses.
Our unique business model allows us to help people transition through their career from beginning to retirement. From high school students seeking career guidance and support, to business owners who need staff to expand their operations – we work to upskill individuals and match them to sustainable and meaningful employment opportunities.
In 2026, Skill Hire expanded its apprenticeship and trade training capability with the integration of NextGen Skills, bringing more than 40 years of specialist experience in plumbing and painting apprenticeships into the Skill Hire brand.
Whether someone is after a registered or group training organisation, or looking for recruitment help – we can help them. Coupled with our ability to deliver government initiatives and programs, there truly isn’t another business like ours.
